In the catalogue for the exhibition All for Art! Our Great Private Collectors Share Their Works, Guy Joussemet describes himself as an “unclassifiable collector, having applied the same zeal and high standards to the acquisition of pre-Columbian art, contemporary paintings, naïve art and art in the rough, photos, design objects and hand-crafted items.
