Photographs of the Architecture in Quebec Opens at The National Gallery of Canada
QUEBEC.- To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the founding of Quebec City in 1608, the Library and Archives presents a selection from its holdings of documentary photographs of religious and secular architecture in Quebec. Images from the Gérard Morisset fonds of the Inventaire des oeuvres d’art, the Gérard Lavallée archive, as well as original photographs by Jean-Paul Morisset, which the National Gallery of Canada toured as part of the exhibition Early Quebec Architecture in 1961–1964 and 1967–1968, will be included.
