Windsor Contemporary Art Fair 08 Bigger than Ever Announces Opening in November
Sasha Bowles, The Other Room.
WINDSOR.- The fair brings together an exciting mix of over 75 artists, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, ceramicists and selected galleries offering the very best in contemporary art with prices from £30 to £3,000. As one of only a few art fairs operating for both galleries and independent artists, it allows visitors to meet and buy from established and emerging artists directly and also see a more diverse range from professional galleries.

The formula proved successful in 2007 with over 3,500 visitors. This year the even wider choice of art from exhibitors from all over the UK and Europe and additional interactive activities - silk painting, art mobiles, ‘antiques road show’ style art valuations and drawing workshops by Harry Potter illustrator Cliff Wright – will make this an event not to be missed. The website www.windsorcontemporaryartfair.co.uk gives art enthusiasts a taste of what's to come.

Organiser Sarah McAllister confirmed the shows increasing popularity. "Since its conception in 2005 Windsor Contemporary Art Fair has gone from strength to strength, attracting top quality artists and galleries. It has proved to be exceptionally popular with local art buyers who no longer need to travel to London to see a comprehensive and exciting selection.”

The event will be held at Royal Windsor Racecourse over 3 days - 7th-9th November 2008. Friday 10am - 6pm, Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday 10am - 5pm.

Tickets are £5.00 for adults, £4.00 Concessions, Children under 12 are free.

Café and wine tasting through the weekend.

The fair continues its support for The Prince's Trust through a sale of original miniature canvases.
