TEGUCIGALPA.- The Central American Biennial is a rotating event that initiated in 1998 and which it has had as headquarters the capital of five countries in the region (Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and El Salvador). Each country chooses six artists under established criteria in common base and which meet to conform an exhibition of 36 artists and 72 works.

The Biennial of exhibiting paintings exclusively passed on to convert itself into an event that supports contemporary art in all its languages, achieving an evolution and the presence of the artists in events world wide.
