Mingei International Launches Discover Mingei! Treasure Hunt
SAN DIEGO, CA.-Mingei International Museum will launch a new family program on Sunday, March 29 — DISCOVER MINGEI! Treasure Hunt. The new program, which will take place on Community Sunday, the last Sunday of each month, introduces the Museum and its offerings to a more diverse audience and makes the Museum experience more family-friendly.

A special family-rate admission will be offered on Community Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. along with the exhibition-related treasure hunt and its clues that encourage participants to explore the Museum’s exhibitions. Prizes will be given for completing the treasure hunt. DISCOVER MINGEI! Treasure Hunt maps in both Spanish and English can be downloaded from the Museum’s website, www.mingei.org, and will also be available at the Museum.

Community Sunday admission from noon to 4 p.m. is $5 for families and $3 for individuals.

DISCOVER MINGEI! Museum Treasure Hunt and Community Sunday are co-sponsored by the Downtown Rotaract Club of the San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Foundation, The San Diego Union-Tribune, Enlace and Univision, with prizes donated by Blick Art Materials.
