Bonhams appoint Catherine Yaiche as its representative in France
Catherine who is a Commissaire-Priseur will be responsible for sourcing business in Paris especially and in France generally.
LONDON.- Bonhams has announced the appointment of Catherine Yaiche as head of its operation in France from August 1st.

Catherine who is a Commissaire-Priseur will be responsible for sourcing business in Paris especially and in France generally. She has grown up with art as she is from a family of well-known antique dealers based in the South of France and has wide experience of the French auction scene.

Between 1987 and 2002 Catherine was head of valuations for the leading Paris-based auction house Tajan, with direct responsibility for furniture and the works of art department. In this role she was an advisor for private collections in Paris, Geneva and Monaco. She has subsequently run her own business as an art consultant, acting for significant French and Russian families and collectors in France.

She has a law degree from University of Paris, a degree in management from the University of Toulouse and diplomas in Auctioneering and gemology.
