Nefertiti Bust On View at Kulturforum Berlin
Nefertiti bust.
BERLIN, GERMANY.- Kulturforum in Berlin presents a bust of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti. The bust comes from Berlin's Egyptian Museum. It will be later located at the Old Museum on the Museum Island on August 3, 2005. The work is currently the main work of a special five-month exhibition. The bust measures 19 inches high and was discovered by German archeologists in 1912. It is part of an art and hieroglyphs exhibition on view through August 2.

Egyptian Museum director Dietrich Wildung stated, "It was a 10-minute drive through snow flurries, without any hitch."
