"8 Decades of an Artist Reporter" - Artwork by David Rose
SOUTH PASADENA, CA.- The Chouinard School of Art will present an exhibition of works by renowned courtroom sketch artist David Rose. The show will include eight decades of drawings, illustrations, paintings, and etchings.

As a courtroom sketch artist, Mr. Rose has covered many of the most sensational trials of the past few decades, including those of Klaus Barbie, Patty Hearst, Gary Gilmore, Sirhan Sirhan, the Manson family, Sara Jane Moore, Roman Polanski, John DeLorean, the L.A. Freeway Killer, the McMartin child molestation case and the Night Stalker. His sketches have been seen on NBC News, the Today show, and virtually every local Los Angeles television station, and have been published by the Associated Press, United Press, Reuters, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, San Francisco Examiner, Chicago Tribune, International Herald Examiner, Time, and Newsweek.

David Rose's paintings and drawings have been exhibited in countless museums including the Metropolitan Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Chicago Institute of Fine Arts, and the L.A. County Museum of Art.

Rose will give a talk about his work and his life as an artist during the opening reception and all our welcome.
