BARCELONA, SPAIN.- Lumen will publish this month of September the book I Leave You Here My Portrait, a book of memories from Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. The book includes letters, poems, dedications, and personal notes that make up an autobiography of the artist. The book will be presented on September 16 and includes a prologue by writer Ana María Moix. Her notes make evident her frustrations as a woman for her illness, but also her love for that big boy, of kind face and sad look that was Diego Rivera and her comments about the old cockroaches that were to her André Breton and the surrealists. The work of ordering, introducing and noting these personal notes by Frida Kahlo was done by Raquel Tibol, an Argetinian art critic who worked as a secretary of Diego Rivera.
