Rosanne Lawton "Abstraction II" To Open
Rosanne Lawton, “Intricate Fix”, Metallic & Acrylic on Canvas (Joined by Aluminum Piping), 97cm x 66cm.
PADDINGTON.-Global Gallery will feature Rosanne Lawton “Abstraction II”, on view August 8-19, 2007. The Exhibition “Abstraction II” will present abstract artwork with a designer influence. Rosanne Lawton populates her abstract artwork of strong and simple design pieces that compliment the modern interior. Her award winning artwork creates unique pieces combining simplicity with abstract compositions. Expressions from day-to-day experiences inspire Rosanne’s innovative designs with the use of abstract geometrics and random elements. Her diverse range in design, theme and size provides for every taste. Vibrant, retro and bold colours inspire this unique and simple abstract art.

Rosanne’s artwork has appeared in group and solo exhibitions throughout Queensland in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Mackay, Townsville and Port Douglas. Her artwork debuted in Melbourne and Sydney this year with exhibitions in February, April and June. Rosanne’s displays at Art Melbourne 07 in April fascinated art critics. Her artwork has excited architects who she works closely with in interior design of architectural homes. These “unique and inspiring” artworks continue to impact the art world. This young and talented artist provides the perfect mix to succeed inspiring all with her professionalism and unique talent.

Artist Background: Rosanne was born in Sydney and raised in Queensland which has contributed to the beauty and grandeur of bright and unique themes reflected in her art pieces. Rosanne’s passion for art began at a young age. In her recent years her flare for art has intensified and developed into a professional art career. After years of debilitating migraines and regular hospitalisation, Rosanne has emerged with a refreshing and positive attitude to life - an inspiration to all who meet her. Some artists have their demons and “migraines” she says, could be hers. This young woman takes it all in her stride and accepts life as it is. Innocence, trauma, passions and emotions are all fused together into her art pieces. Look out for her intriguing artwork displays.
