LONDON.-Lesley Craze Gallery presents: ‘Look What I Found’, an exhibition of jewellery, vessels and artworks made using recycled materials and found objects, on view 28th September – 20th October 2007. Treacle tins, old comics, the ubiquitous London ‘freebie’ papers, old coins, rubber gloves and tin cans. These objects and materials might not have immediate intrinsic value, but in the hands of this group of artists, these otherwise functional objects and materials are transformed into precious objects such as jewellery, decorative vessels and ‘objects d’Art’. This exhibition unites this diverse group of artists who are all intrigued by the idea of ordinary items taking on extraordinary forms.
