SANTANDER, SPAIN.- The Santiago Casar gallery presents an exhibition on Antonio Suárez, on of the El Paso group founders. The group is now celebrating its 50th anniversary. The same gallery held an exhibition on 2002 with four of the most representative artists of the gallery, among them Antonio Suárez.

According to Leopoldo Rodríguez Alcalde, the painting of Suárez has always been characterized by purity and a firm and delicate continuation of the personal vision of the artist. His work is in public and private collections in several countries such as the Reina Sofía and the Museo de Arte Moderno of Brazil.

The El Paso group is made up by the following artists: Jose Ayllón, Rafael Canogar, Martin Chirino, Manuel Conde, Luis Feito, Juana Francés, Manuel Millares, Manuel Rivera, Manuel, Antonio Saura, Pablo Serrano, Antonio Suarez, and Manuel Viola.
