I Pool Gallery Presents Simultaneous Spaces
Michelle Jezierski.
BERLIN, GERMANY.- I Pool Gallery presents Simultaneous Spaces, new paintings and collages by native Berliner Michelle Jezierski. Jezierski's imagery challenges our understandings of time, space, and perspective by inviting the viewer into impossible atmospheres and spatial landscapes. Recontextualized symbolism renders the familiar to become disoriented through jer use of defied physics. Houses float through space inside caves creating a sense of the otside within. Interiors and exteriors portray an estranged intimacy in which the polars of the natural and domestic world seem to bear no distinction, Jeziersky has created a seductive and alienating world of unattainable places that serves to heighten and distort our awareness of perception. Michelle Jezierski was born in 1981 of American parents and raised in Berlin.
