Bank of America Launches Expanded Program
CHARLOTTE.- Bank of America today announced the expansion of its Museums on Us® program, which now provides cardholders free access to 120 of the nation’s finest arts, cultural and educational institutions during the first full weekend of every month.

Museums on Us has experienced major growth since the 2008 season due to increased demand, adding more than 40 institutions to bring the total geographic reach to 40 markets. Bank of America has broadened the program to include museums in Jacksonville, Fla.; Las Vegas, Nev.; St. Louis, Mo.; Tucson, Ariz. and Nashville, Tenn., among others. This year’s program also includes many new family-oriented institutions, including the Phoenix Zoo, the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, the Please Touch Museum® in Philadelphia, the Detroit Science Center, and more.

“Museums on Us is a unique consumer program that makes arts and culture highly accessible and affordable to cultural enthusiasts and families nationwide,” said Rena M. DeSisto, Arts and Culture Executive, Bank of America. “The program rewards our customers and provides a free cultural resource at a time when it’s needed most. Museums on Us also benefits our museum partners and our communities by creating new revenue opportunities locally. In addition, Museums on Us is a strong business driver and avidity program for the bank.”

Bank of America does business with one in two U.S. households, making the Museums on Us program accessible to a large population.

Participants in Museums on Us range from some of the nation’s largest institutions – such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago – to a wide range of regional cultural institutions, science centers and zoos (see full list below).

To qualify for Museums on Us, Bank of America customers simply present their ATM, credit or check card and a valid photo ID to gain free general admission to any participating institution. Not valid for special exhibitions, fundraising events or ticketed shows. Not to be combined with any other discounts or offers. Free admission does not guarantee reservation. Offer valid the first full weekend of each month through December 4-5, 2010.

For more information on Museums on Us or Bank of America’s arts and culture programming, please visit www.bankofamerica.com/museums. The new Museums on Us program will become more dynamic with additional offers added over time, so visitors are encouraged to visit often.
