TEL AVIV.- The exhibition presents the works of Yanai Toister, recipient of the 2008 Constantiner Photography Award, and of the 2009 recipient, Naomi Leshem. Toister (born 1977), presents works from two 2005 series: "Tri-Channeled Compositions" and "Visible Color", which deal, through various emphases, with the signifying character of color, and with its ability to disrupt historical representation. He confronts the clarity of the photographed message with aesthetic redundancy which creates a structural interruption and charges the photograph with complex layers.
