BERLIN, GERMANY.- Wolfgang Thierse (2ndR), President of the German lower house of parliaments, and US architect Peter Eisenman (3rdR) attend the putting up of the last stele of the 'Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe', 15 December 2004 in Berlin. The so-called holocaust memorial, consisting of around 2,700 concrete slabs arranged in a grid pattern, will be officially inaugurated in May 2005.
