GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA.- The Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art opens the exhibit International Contemporary Art from the Harn Museum Collection through July 22, 2007. The new installation in the Cofrin Pavilion highlights international contemporary art in all media from the museums contemporary collection, including the recent acquisition of sculpture and prints by South African artist William Kentridge. Also featured is European photography, the work of French-American artist Louise Bourgeois, an installation by Argentine artist Sergio Vega and a strong representation of work from the United States. Several international artists working in video will also be showcased. This exhibition made possible by Christies with additional support from the Sidney Knight Endowment.
